  • To  exchange resources on the different traditions of opera, and  their cultural contexts
  • To exchange knowledge on other topics of specific interest
  • To  have regular electronic correspondence between participants
  • To cascade information on the project within the own organisation/region

Achieved within the group  via use of repository, inter-group and individual email exchanges, meetings and use of skype calls.

Achieved within the CAT via exchange of creative work e.g. the EU CAT sending  opera music and songs they proposed from the western canon such as an aria  from Handel’s Solomon, whilst the Chinese CAT sent their own portrayal of the story in Beijing opera style.

Achieved beyond the group via the established in feedbacks within each organisation, via DARE publicity (including a presentation during a City of Leeds arts and business week in Milan, Italy, leading to a visit from Milan University staff), via  lectures within undergraduate and post graduate programmes at the University of Leeds and at Sibelius.
